Rajasthan government school teachers protested overwhelming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) duties, which they claim are hindering their primary teaching responsibilities. The protests followed the suicide of a teacher and Booth Level Officer (BLO), Mukesh Jangid, who allegedly cited unrealistic SIR workloads and threats of suspension as reasons for his death.
