37 dead after bus plunges into ravine in southern Peru

At least 37 people were killed and 24 injured in southern Peru on Wednesday when a passenger bus plunged into a 200-meter ravine after colliding with a pickup truck on the Panamericana Sur highway. The bus, operated by Llamosas company, was traveling from Chala to Arequipa. Authorities are investigating the cause of the deadly incident.
