Head constable Shehzad Ali bravely fought off attackers attempting to free a detained suspect, Gaurav Rai, in Vidhyadhar Nagar. Ali single-handedly resisted the assault for 20 minutes while a crowd filmed the incident. Vijay and Rahul Rai, the attackers, were later arrested, and an FIR was filed against them for assaulting a police officer and obstructing official duty.
