A 10-year-old boy with chronic kidney disease, admitted to JK Lon Hospital in Jaipur, was mistakenly given AB+ blood instead of his O+ blood type. Two days later, he received a second transfusion with the correct blood type. The hospital is investigating the potential sample swap and monitoring the boy’s condition, which remains critical.
