A sharp 13-year-old basketball player in Jodhpur prevented a serious medical error by noticing a B+ blood bag was about to be transfused into him, despite his A+ blood type. Alerting staff, he narrowly avoided a transfusion of the wrong blood. An inquiry is underway to determine how the mix-up occurred, especially after a similar fatal incident recently.
