Canada’s IRCC revealed nearly 47,000 foreign students are potentially in the country illegally, violating visa terms by not attending classes. ​Aiesha Zafar, the head of migration integrity at the agency, said that 47,175 people who entered Canada as students are potentially “non-compliant,” meaning that they are not attending classes as required by the terms of their visa.
