Indian flew first aeroplane before Wright brothers, gravity theory existed before Newton: Rajasthan governor Haribhau Bagde
Governor Haribhau Bagde stated that Shivkar Bapuji Talpade flew the first aeroplane in 1895 in Mumbai, based on ancient Sanskrit aero-science, predating the Wright brothers. He also claimed that Bhaskaracharya established the theory of gravity before Newton. Speaking at the MDS University convocation, Bagde highlighted India’s rich scientific tradition and the need to blend modern knowledge with it.
