Eight men from Jaipur drowned in the Banas river in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on Tuesday. The victims, aged 25-30, were bathing when they accidentally ventured into deep water. Police rescued three survivors who are now stable, but eight were declared dead at the hospital. Authorities are investigating how the group slipped into the deeper part of the river.
