Sudan’s military takes control of Republican Palace after 2 yrs of war with RSF

Sudan’s military has recaptured the Republican Palace in Khartoum from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), bolstering their position in the capital. Despite the symbolic victory, the RSF still controls significant areas, including Darfur. The ongoing conflict, which has led to over 28,000 deaths and widespread displacement, has intensified fighting and deepened the humanitarian crisis.
