Meta platforms’ Facebook and Instagram faced significant outages across the US on Monday, with users reporting over 8,000 issues for Facebook and 4,000 for Instagram around 1:44 pm ET. Most services were restored by 2:09 pm ET. Earlier this year, a global Meta outage affected hundreds of thousands of users for over two hours.
