Afghan immigrant arrested in Oklahoma for planning election day ‘terrorist attack’
Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, and an underage accomplice were arrested in Oklahoma for allegedly planning an election day terrorist attack. Tawhedi, who entered the US on a special immigrant visa, sought to purchase AK-47 rifles and researched Washington, DC surveillance. The attack was intended in ISIS’s name, targeting public gatherings and aspiring to die as martyrs.
